Caregiver Challenges and Training

We recently came across an article by Virginia Polytechnic Institute that conducted a study for 10 years about the challenges caregivers face (2007-2017), few of which are advanced age and poorer health.

Here in this video, we talk about how the aspect of caregiving in India is unique due to high resilience and strong family values.

We talk about the possible challenges they face and some useful caregiving tips that could go a long way in improving quality of life of the patients and their loved ones.

It is especially important to follow through these tips for caregivers caring for patients with Parkinson's, Alzheimer's , Dementia, Stroke and those who require severe assistance.

Remember to never take them for granted and do empathize with them :)
