As someone who started playing guitar at age 58 I really appreciate your videos. You are obviously still enjoying the exploration of your guitar and rig, and you are willing to share it in your videos. Thanks.

Great video Tim. To be honest I was uncertain about a video where I didn't get to hear you play and instead was hearing you talk about putting together a peddleboard, but I actually enjoyed the video and it's interesting to see your choices and comments- but now I'll go get a video with you playing more! Thanks for all of it Tim!

Scenes, modes, snapshots, they're all great. I have a Helix which uses snapshots to route to combinations of effects. Fractal uses scenes and there's also the incredible Gig Rig. You're pedal board is turning out pretty cool.

Mr Tim, that is soo much information on effects I am terribly terribly lost lol however it's a amazing thing to see and sounded really good and it feel like someone could have a blast playing on it, thank you for your video sir ^^

damn Tim, you need to hook up with Dan and Mick at That Pedal Show! that would constitute the guitar and pedal encyclopedia Britannia combined with a (fact based) Wikipedia of the YouTube guitar gear world.

Very interesting video! I have been checking out your videos for some time :)

One question: Why not compressor? I'd imagine you use that for studio work, or do you add that later on the recording?

Just got very curious...

Thank you for mentioning the insert between 6 and 7 where the volume pedal is supposed to go. I didn't know where to put it.

Hi Tim. Thanks for sharing. I like a volume pedal as well but so far haven't figured out how to prevent tone suck because of the impedance issue. Have a couple of good buffered pedals on my board, have always put volume where you suggest, one instinct that was right, but can hear a difference when I take it out. Thoughts? Thanks again, Richard

Hey TIm, love your videos, I remember you from your live appearances with Rick Springfield back in the 80's, not to mention the countless hit songs/albums you've worked on. Your a legend. My question to you is two-fold: 1- What mod do you have on your Boss GE-7 EQ and are you happy with your Eventide H9 for stuff like Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Tremolo, etc.. I currently have the Strymon Mobius and its good but i am not crazy about the chorus & phaser. Thanks TIm.
