Up Close and Personal with a Giant Salamander

Noodling refers to the practice of catching fish with your hands. Here, Jeremy has noodled a rare giant salamander and is tagging it for scientific research.

Its good to see amphibians, when water gets polluted the amphibians are the first to go, the one park I live by used to have thousands of frogs, every time it would rain they would cover the road, but since the town on the other side of the park started illegally dumping sewage in the river there are no frogs, literarily none, it also effected the koi pond they used to have, well over 100 fish died, some were close to 100 years old....industrial greed sucks :(

This is a docile creature until you grab it's tail and yank it out of the water. The only reason this animal would attack anyone (child or adult), would be if you stepped on it or messed with it. ALL creatures have the ability and choice to become aggressive when touched.
