Super Thanks (see below the video screen)

Learn how to play Cinnamon Girl, as performed by Neil Young and Crazy horse released in 1969 on the Everybody Knows this is Nowhere album. A great piece of two guitar artistry between Neil Young and Danny Whitten who also sang the high harmony with Neil.

The lesson covers their two parts, and details the nuances between both of their parts that compliment each other perfectly.

Saw Neil and Crazy Horse in May. A stellar rock and roll show. I was stunned by Neil's energy and passion at 77 years old. Amazing.

Neil Young took drop D tuning and made a hall of fame songwriting career out of it. I've been playing this song for a few yeas but I still stop to watch your video so I can REALLY know how to play it! Love all the little details you added.

It’s amazing how many of my favorite tunes from back in the day were performed with alternate tunings. Thank you for decoding this one!

I had played this before based on what I'd seen online; your cover is well beyond that. Sounds great and I am enjoying learning it. Thank you for posting it, and I will look further into your site for more tunes.

This is the first song that I worked out all the parts to, and recorded on my old 4-track by myself. 2 guitars, bass, 2 voices and an old Alesis drum machine for the drum track. I forget how I mixed it down, but I fit everything into 4 tracks somehow. Yeah it was a little muddy, but 19 year old me was pretty proud of myself!

Another Gem from 12 ft. His fine work enables myself in fine tuning songs I have played for years. Thanks for helping us all in our guitar playing journeys. Once again you are the best!

Was 11 yrs old when I came across this song around 1971... got hooked on his guitar playing ever since. Learned double D dropped tuning from his catalog of songs.

There are many good tutorials on this song but this one is the best I've seen. Outstanding!

That interplay between Neil and Danny in the solo is top shelf once in a lifetime stuff

I heard, but did not see, Neil in concert last month. It was $400 for lawn seats, $20 beers and no jumbo screen so unless you pay thousand you won't see him. In order to do this song correctly you need to put your camera about 2 football fields away from yourself and charge $1000 for the lesson to capture the Neil vibe
