*MORE ABOUT THIS ARTWORK:

Welcome back to my channel today with a little therapy session! This is a part of my process in the creation of this artwork "Back To The Future III - 1754-2024". This piece measures 31x31cm and it is all ink on paper. Each and every line is painted using a variety of different brushes. I particularly love all my series and collection of works that focus on the use of line. I have always bee obsessed with the concept of time and this artwork, belonging to my "Back To The Future" collection is a visualisation of the passage of time... I'd love to say more and I will in our next episodes of my video series, "Behind The Art with Roberta Boffo"!!

If you enjoyed this video, please give it a thumb up, leave a comment before you go and please do consider subscribing to my channel. Your support means so much to me.

Enjoy the video and I will see you all next Sunday!

Love,
Robi

I love your work but I think sometimes I get sad watching because I can no longer do such wonderful lines because of tremors. However, I have turned the situation into my own shaky work and I still find joy in creating! Bravo!

I can't stop thinking how amazing those beautiful patterns would look done on metal point with the added visual richness of different metals... Silver, copper, bronze, even brass... And how they will evolve in time developing different kinds of rust.

The brushes you used. Were they Japanese calligraphy brushes? Must have been. I love how their brushes are made. That’s an art all in its own.

It’s not even dedication you put into your creations, it’s love in its purist form. Thank you for allowing us to share in your process.

I personally would love to see you do a portrait in your style. To see your collection of symbols, lines and dots look like the individual you’re portraying would be inspirational.
