DosBox : how to mount a CD / DVD drive

I am going to show you how to mount a CD or DVD drive on DosBOX. I am using the version 0.74 on Windows 8.1.

when i try to run the exe file it says "you need microsoft windows" but my windows is windows 10, any help

On my laptop, it's Mount D D:\ -t cdrom because the D:\ drive is a DVD drive.

D f:\ -t cdrom Mine says that D is an illegal command, I have also tried with the C same problem, illegal command. I am also trying to mount my cdrom drive to dosbox, my cd drive is on F:\ (windows 10)

Hmmmm I just do "mount e e:\ -t cdrom". I haven't seen this before.
