On my 22 3 this was COMICALLY easy. Compared to reality this video made it harder than it actually was 😂. Thanks for the tutorial!

Any time you can DIY rather than the dealer there are two advantages. First and foremost it's less expensive. Dealerships make the most profit servicing vehicles rather than selling cars. Second, by DIY you know it's being done correctly and with quality parts! I'll admit I can't do all the mechanical service myself, e.g., transmission fluid change, tire rotation, etc. For the latter, seek references when choosing a mechanic. Last tip: save all your invoices showing what work has been done. I summarize all work done on an Excel spreadsheet showing when the maintenance was done and at what mileage intervals.

Thanks so much! Question, though, about arrows on my replacment filter. One side of my filter has both an arrow marked left and an arrow marked right. What is the left and right relative to? Should the left arrow be pointing towards the passenger side or driver's side?

stupid dealership wanted to charge close to $200 + tax to replace the engine and cabin filters....these types of job they should almost do it for free if you are already buying parts from the dealership, what a scam.
