Hi Charley,

Just found out about your strategy and it make absolutely so much sense, I am hyped to use this. I have been binge-watching your video’s but still have some questions. I might should take some more time to let the info sink in to my brain, but I am very eager to learn this.

For context:
I own an unisex jewelry brand and my content is divided in men and women as I use models to showcase the items. I am focusing more on the lifestyle around the jewelry to create an experience, more than just selling the jewelry. I sell rings, bracelets and necklaces .

1. Should I make a different campaign for men and women? Or combine these two in one campaign and adjust the gender per ad set.

2. If same genders in one campaign, this means let CBO decide which gender is showing best conversion towards the content?

3. Knowing that the landing page is the same for each of the creatives, what would you recommend:
3.1 Use three different photos, each photo showcasing a different necklace and directing to a
general landing page
3, 2 Use one photo but with three different creative styles, directed to product page
3.3 Use different photos with different scenery but all showcase the same product, directed to the same product page.

4. The set up for a campaign is:
Campaign level -> test two ad sets  find a winner  put winner in separate ad set  start testing again.
You end up with 3 ad sets (the winner poule and 2 tests). All budget divided per ad set is in hands of CBO.

5. As I am selling rings, bracelets and necklaces; is it fair to test these products in the same campaign? Or would you recommend making a different campaign per type of product.

My ads over the past year of doing it your way show 40 to 64 YOs perform best with a healthy profit. I think what you're saying here is it's okay for me to run ad sets within a specific age range, if I have the data to say it's okay?

I hate to exclude anyone, considering I have plenty of customers who are 64+.

But the reality is my data shows they're not bringing me a healthy enough return (from Meta). Thanks man

Why then my broad adsets always suck? Does that mean my ads suck? If so why then they work good with interests? Or should I wait more (5-6-7 days?) until the results will improve for broad adsets?

Broad is good for matured adults ad accounts with over 1000 sales.

Before that it’s like burning money.

Interests are perfectly fine until reaching 1000 sales cap.

Hey Charley,

I’m brand new to Facebook ads and started a campaign for my ecomm store about 10 days ago using your 3-2-2 broad campaign setup. I’ve had over 130 sales so far and that’s with a budget between $150 and $250 per day and started at $50.

My roas varies from 2 and 3 right now and we have been trying to pump more into the daily budget to scale the campaign, but Facebook has us at $250 daily budget for almost a week and it’s super frustrating.

Do you have any advice on how to get Facebook to increase our daily limit or any tips or tricks or secrets to increase it??

Also, what would you do after you find your winning Ad? We haven’t added more creatives because this Ad seems to be pulling in results, but curious to know what you’d suggest.

This is the only thing holding us back right now from scaling I believe 😭

My ad was active a month ago and spent 3k dollars and was very profitable but I had to close it due to some problems.

Then I published the same ad in another campaign and another country the few days ago, it was very good in the first days, but after a few days it started to get very bad.

When I tested other variations of the same ad, they were not getting any spend. Did you know why? thanks.
