In this video Heimler explains what you need to know about Unit 6 Topic 2 (6.2) of the AP European History curriculum which is all about the rise of the Industrial Revolution in the 18th century. It began in Great Britain for various reasons and then spread to the rest of Europe somewhat unevenly.

is that how the irish potato famine is taught in the ap curriculum? cause "blight, no potoatoes, people died" is even less than surface level. there was so much more (the british) involved than that

It’s amazing how history is taught around the world. The industrial revolution is taught to 12/13 year olds in history in Great Britain. Yet it appears in the ap syllabus in us.
