He is right, he was in every episode. He should have had a part in the Reboot. Screech was definitely an important character on that show. They could have somehow included him. There were 5 “Pretty People” but only One Screech in the main cast. Their Characters were very similar but Screech was completely one of a kind ! I feel like behind the scenes this show really was like a high school. The Pretty & Popular were kinda full of themselves & looked down on Dustin & he knew it. And this led to his future issues as an adult! I heard him say he wanted kids. Sad he didnt get to live longer. Sad he didnt get invited to do the new show in spite of the fact he was in every episode from the beginning. Even if they didnt like him, I am sure there was a way to include him.

I get what he means. Long after the others left the nest, he stayed home. In a certain way, he inherited the show and he seems to care for it.

That's so crazy seeing him at that age because that means he's my age. Because I remember when this show started coming on in the late 80s. I wish I could go back to the 80s

It’s sad that they didn’t bring Screech back, when Dustin Diamond was still alive. But I’m glad they at least payed tribute to him in Season 2 of the Saved By The Bell reboot.

All the world's a stage. We are all merely players. No one is perfect. No relationship or relationships are perfect either. Dustin Diamond played a pivotal role in a show that ran for over a decade. After the show, the others reinvented themselves and unfortunately Dustin was never able to settle on his next chapter. I know a thing or two about reinventing one self. I am sure most people know what I mean. Struggle, self medicating, violent or angry outbursts all go with the territory if you can not put it behind you and be happy with who you are and who is around you, ignoring material things. If not, you push away anyone that cares. It ain't easy fixing those relationships. True friends do not care about what you have, they care about who you are. Do not allow the toxic take over. In this particular case it ultimately took a toll on this gentleman and he passed on at a young age so we say. Many will criticize the cast members now that Dustin is gone and throw blame their way. In 2021 people love to throw in their two cents and most of all take shots at others simply because most people in society are struggling just as Dustin did or most people live a lie or hate who they are. Some people enter the final stage of life as Shakespeare wrote - the 2nd child/baby stage when in old age. Some people go from the 1st child stage into a failed adulthood and back to the 2nd child stage in their 20s. I was able to look back on life and in the present moment, be happy and move forward as everyday is a great day. Be kind to others and smile. Humanity is on the brink of failure with all the divide and conquer at play. THEY who control the stage are winning. Rest in Peace Dustin Diamond. My condolences to all his friends and family. His spirit lives on thru them, not thru a character he played, thru Dustin as those close to him knew him, regardless of accomplishments or failures. No one is perfect, that is just how the stage is set to bring you down. Everything is energy. Be positive. Control is an illusion. There is what you do and what you choose not to do in this life...Choose wisely, ask for help early, and remember there are no excuses. Dustin Diamond was a good soul, far from perfect and just wanted to be loved...Just like the rest of us.

I really hope the rest of the cast who didn't like Screech and didn't invite him to the reboot, I hope they feel rotten. That guilt is going to be with them for the rest of their lives, of how they treated and ostracized him. RIP Dustin 🕊️
