Let the Quran Speak
"Muslim", "Islam", "Hajj", "Masjid", "Nabi", "Allah" etc are all Arabic and Hebrew words.
Not many people know that Allah is the G-d of the Bible. Not many people know that Moses went for "Hajj". Not many people know that Hebrew place of worship is called "Masjid". The second Temple was "Musjid". Jesus was "Nabi" in the Bible. Not many people know that Jesus went for Hajj in Jerusalem. The Temple (Holy of Holy) was Cube almost same size as Kabba.

I'm young Muslim male. I will remain single and childless forever. I don't have long beard, I clean shave or sometimes keep a bit facial hair (stubble). Is that halal?

To translate all the verses of the Quran litterally does great injustice to the Quran and in fact goes against the Quran.
Allah swt is Merciful and has even told us how to translate the Quran. Please see Surah Al-Imran 3: 5-7
It states that Allah uses two kinds of language in the Quran, one factual and the other figurative/Allegorical.
The Creed of Islam is the Quran.
The Quran is the Only Wahi Sent to Rasool-Allah. All else is man-made, just as the Injeel was the wahi sent to Hazrat Eesa, this was has replaced by Mathew, Luke, Mark and John!
200yrs after the passing of Nabi s.a.w we were given the Gospels of Bukhari etc etc. Now we too are stuck with these, just as the Christians are stuck with theirs. God, forbid that the Quran becomes superceded! But alas this is happening right now. We have groups who call themselves Ale-Hadees! We also have so called Muslim scholars who would rather quote us from hadith, than from Allah Hadith, Al-Quran. Woe, unto them that have indeed abandoned the Quran in favour of man-made words.

I don't get the modernist approach to the religion. Islam is what the Prophet taught. Its only rational to take the Athari position because, the Sahabah took the Deen from the Prophet so its only natural that they would have the best understanding of it. That's the Athari creed, Quran and Sunnah upon the understanding of Salaf.
Even Ablu Hasan Al Ashari in his book Al Ibanah denounced his previous Aqeedah and said that he has come to the Aqeedah of Imam Ahmad, which is well known to be Athari.
