Avril Lavigne’s Ex Mod Sun Breaks His Silence On Their Split

Mod Sun is breaking his silence on his and Avril Lavigne’s break up. The 35-year-old took to Instagram on Tuesday to share how he’s doing writing in part, “In 1 week my entire life completely changed…I just know there’s a plan for it all. I’ll keep my head up + always listen to my heart, even when it feels broken.” The update comes after news of Mod Sun and Avril’s split broke last week. The duo called it quits nearly a year after getting engaged. The pair got engaged last March in Paris.

I think she just doesn't want to make a mistake marrying the wrong guy. No break ups happen out of the blue. There are always issues that get raised by one person but don't get addressed or taken seriously by the other person. Most likely there were issues Avril saw that she voiced to Mod Sun but he didn't take it seriously and she's a Libra so she probably had enough and checked out. Her first marriage failed because her ex became addicted to drugs. She wanted him to change his ways but he didn't until after she left him and he almost died from a drug OD. And she was friends with Chad and bonded over music but I think she realized quickly after her marriage that Chad was more of a really good friend than someone she loved. And she seems to get attracted to men with issues who she thinks she can help in some way. Even Brody Jenner had abandonment issues with Bruce. But she can't change/help them because they don't want to change or aren't at that stage of evolution yet. I'm glad she didn't go through with the marriage because she obviously wants to learn from her mistakes.
