Full Review of LG Optimus G (E973)
LG Optimus G is running Android 4.1.2 Jelly bean powered by a 1.5 GHz quad core processor & 2 GB RAM. The Android running on this device is the closest I've felt to the stock android ROM that I've seen on the nexus devices.
The Optimus G looks like an elder brother to the Nexus 4. It has almost the same looks except better performance counterparts such as the processor, camera, GPU, etc.
The display of the Optimus G is a 4.7 inch True HD IPS capacitive display with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels. True HD IPS panels are known for excellent picture & text clarity, sharp readability, natural color reproduction and wide viewing angles. The display is simply stunning.
The device is really fast and responsive. Touch to response is phenomenal! As I have mentioned before, the device feels like the original stock Android ROM. The quad core processor & 2 GB RAM definitely play a key role in determining the performance statistics of the device.
Placing shortcuts and widgets on the homescreens is really easy. Simply tap on the plus sign on the top right corner of the homescreens and you get a choice of multiple widgets & shortcuts that makes life easier on the Optimus G.
There is obviously more to the device and the only way to find out about it is to buy it! The device is definitely worth the price.
