This song is so special to me as I worry about the health of my lovely wife Kathy. She was dx with cancer. We separated on bad terms as I was immature and selfish. Now, I realize just how much I loved her always. We are on good terms now and hopefully will be back together. I just want her health back first. My young son is showing such maturity. He is going to school and then working as a landscaper after school and helping his mom. He is giving up his fun for the love of his mother. This song really keeps it in check for me. Tears are falling. I pray for the day that she is healthy and I will take them on the best vacation ever.

I hate when people complain about Paul's voice and expect him to sing like 40 years ago, he was 62 years old at the time of video, isn't so easy to him to sing at this age; if you don't like his voice, just go watch their old live videos. Btw, their 80s stuff is awesome and this crowd is dead.

As a current graduate student in Speech Language Pathology, I'd like to make a few comments about the voice in general, and Paul's voice: as person grows older, it's very normal for the voice to drop in pitch, but Paul's voice is beyond that. I know he's been seeing an ENT for many years, but to my knowledge, it seems like this physician never referred him to a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) who specializes in Voice Therapy and Disorders. The vocal folds are very delicate, and something we take for granted. While an ENT can offer medical advice, prescribe medications, and perform surgeries, an SLP could have coached him over the years on how to take care of his vocal folds, and even the laryngeal and suprahyoid muscles. In terms of physiology, the muscles play an important role in vocal fold vibration. While Paul may have not smoked or drank alcohol, he could have also benefitted from therapy. I'm not saying his voice would sound the same had he gone through therapy, but I think it would have helped keep his vocal folds healthier. There's a strain to his voice, which leads to more vocal effort. I'd love to see how his vocal folds function through a videostroboscopy.

So it's a bit rough around the edges and yeah Paul's vox are pretty much blown but I still dig it. Not a Kiss apologist either (I think the Elder sucks and Revenge is overrated as hell) but just appreciating the tunes and performances (as ramshackle as they may be) because Kiss have been around for so long (over 45 years!) I think we fans tend to take them for granted but it's soon coming to it's end (and given the condition of Stanley's voice and the lipsynch/playback controversy--not a fine of it myself--perhaps it's for the best) and I'm gonna miss 'em.

I love how at the beginning when Paul's doing the chorus a cappella, Tommy's singing every word with him to cover Paul's voice. I love these guys, and I have huge respect for Paul as a person, but his voice just isn't what it used to be...
