Dream - Animated in Procreate Dreams - Finished Export and Story Reel

I thought it would be interesting to show the story reel I boarded and presented to Procreate next to the finished export. I like to stick very close to my boards when I'm animating my own story reels. Because the software wasn't ready at the time, I boarded the reel in Photoshop and cut it together in Premier. The score was created by Max Mueller.

When I first heard of Procreate Dreams; I thought how cool would it be if Aaron Blaise used this?🤔

Omg I love it! It reminds me of 90s animated movies, so nostalgic

I love the danny elfman-esque composition in the score, man what I wouldn't do for more!

I was a little on the fence about Dreams but seeing this made me definitely want to get it when it comes out. That was just fantastic!

aaa I was hoping you upload a storyboard or at least a comparison version, this looks freaking great. I love the ending in the storyboard of a floating penguin with the seagulls that way, it looks like a flying bean or spaceship. ♥

Not to sound cheesy but the quote "teamwork makes the dream work" comes to mind when I watch this

If this is what can be done in Procreate Dreams, I'm sold!!! Story-wise, I thought the little guy would end up in the water and realise he can "fly" in his own way by doing magestic sweeps in the deep. But flying off with his seagull buddies was a cute way to wrap it up ^_^

I got flashbacks of the short KIWI when I saw the penguin wanting to fly.
But this at least didn't make me ugly cry.

This animation works so well in both versions. It's great to see how perfectly you planned it and then executed it in the final piece. Great work as always ^_^.

Loved seeing this! The whole thing just makes me so happy - art, story, music.

This is the well-animated, hopeful version of " kiwi" in terms of story, and it's very cute

Love this. Always wanted to do some real animation, not just flip books. Looks amazing!

I really wish they announced this app about a week or two before release, not two months. I mean, I’m excited… and now what? Twiddle my thumbs for those months?

Amazing work !! It would be so cool to see a demo walkthrough of your timeline of this project. To See how it looks, how found the new timeline layout & what new features you used. I am also really intrigued to see if you used “performing mode” ?✌️
