Beautiful fall day at the Cabin - Final firewood done

After a rainy summer, it's been beautiful here lately. Fall is here and the hardwoods are changing color. Today I take advantage of the weather to finish up the firewood. A great day to spend in the woods harvesting firewood with the Arctic Cat ATV and the Husqvarna chainsaw. And of course you can't work in the woods without a good breakfast. What a day - the way life should be...

You’re eatin’ high off the hog! I’m a pretty good eater, but I don’t think that I could have finished that brunch. Then again, I’m not burning the calories that you are. It must be satifying to have next year’s wood about ready. We cut firewood during the winter, then hauled it out log length on bobsleds behind a snowmobile. There were times that we chunked it up in the woods and hauled it in a long box on the same sleds. I never thought about it, but you are right about leaving the mess away from the cabin. Great idea. Again, another fine video! I’m looking forward to seeing what videos winter brings. Thanks again.
