I want to take a moment to give Ben HUGE props for 4:44 to 5:30, where he goes over some of the controversial changes for the Titan system. For me, and many other hardcore fans of the original game, those changes make Titanfall 2 significantly less appealing. Most reviews I have read however completely ignore these changes in lieu of a superficial "it has more and thus is better" statement. Ben's comments show this level of understanding of the game often missing from multiplayer reviews, and the way he acknowledges both stances on the changes shows a level of respect to his audience's varied opinions. So Ben, you did good, real good. tl;dr: EZA best in the biz

Can I just tell you guys how glad I am to have you guys back again? I just got back into gaming last year largely in part because I still visited Gametrailers regularly to keep up with the industry. I was completely dumbfounded to find out about the shutdown. These reviews have always been the only ones I really trust, and the most thoughtfully made. I really love the dedication to get this review out early. The earlier you get out reviews on big name games the more likely you are to attract people who just want to know an opinion about the game and the more new people are attracted to EZA. That and the quality of these reviews are just a pleasure to watch. I am probably not going to get this game but I loved watching the review regardless. Great stuff.

One thing i don't quite like is how the game occasionally switches to third person. One of the best parts of the original was that melee takedowns, entering a Titan etc were all done in first person.

This is the first Easy Allies video I've watched, but I'm getting immediate vibes of old GameTrailers reviews - in a very good way. The manner of writing's so similar that it's being mentally filled in with Daniel Kayser's presence in my head. (I used to think he voiced most of the reviews for some reason, and it's a misconception that stuck)

I assume there's a connection? I'm about to look this up, and I'll be damned if there's not.
