Heretic (2024) Movie Review

Today on The Film Geek I'm reviewing the latest A24 film "Heretic".

Sounds fun overall, but the fact that Hugh is clearly spreading his wings from his stereotype past roles shows he's out to have fun. That alone is often a good sign.😊

I was drawn by the trailer. Glad to hear it met expectations. I can picture Kevin McCallister, of Home Alone fame, becoming so disillusioned by the holidays after being ignored by his family for so many years that he becomes Hugh Grant's character.

How are you doing today and how your day? I actually like the movie where it forces the two ladies to make critical decisions while testing their fate. Hugh Grant did a phenomenal job in this movie as the creepy old guy who had his own beliefs about things. I seriously doubt many people saw this movie due to the sensitive topics which was discussed. I would have never went pass that gate nor parked my bike just to ask him does he believe in Jesus Christ. He would be the only person on that list I would have skipped.
