GotBot Counts Down: The 10 Worst Transformers in My Entire Collection

This time I count down the ten worst Transformers in my personal collection. These include everything from Generations, to Combiner Wars, Robots in Disguise, Siege and more. No one is safe. This list really scrapes the bottom of the barrel; yet, I am still glad to have many of them in my Autobot and Decepticon ranks, despite their lack-luster nature. I currently find myself in a unique position of having reviewed everything I own and it, therefore, seemed like this was the right time to do this type of countdown. Naturally, as my collection grows and changes over time, so will this list. However, it is current as of my collection up to and including 2019, and technically the first 2 months of 2020. That said, from this point forward, anything reviewed will be new, new to me, or on loan to the channel. I will also note here that this is my own personal collection and personal list, as such, everyone else would likely have a different list. The one step Bee is my son's favorite, but your other choices (I have 5 of them) were spot-on with the complaints.

Very enjoyable video!
I love POTP Rodimus Prime, despite some of the shortcomings you mentioned.
My son has the 1-step rid Sideswipe and it's not bad; but your Bumblebee really didn't look good!

I'll have to dig up your review for [Spoiler #1 lister]. I remember many people disliked that toy, but I didn't seem to mind much.
Possibly cause it may have been the 1st Transformer my wife bought for me, also maybe I didn't Transform him enough before he got lost in storage.

Regardless, I totally respect your reasons for him being #1 on this list, and it was entertaining as always.

If you're willing to go the extra mile for whatever reason, PotP Rodimus looks a lot better with those gaudy cheap and badly-cut stickers taken off, the flames painted on in their place, and fitted with some red plastic squares cut out of some thin scrap to click in and cover the hands in vehicle mode. Even just painting the hands red, orange or yellow hides them better. The trick with PotP Rodimus is to just never display him in robot mode, lol...I've always viewed mine as more of a simple toy and only display him with my various Rods for completions sake but I also think he is a very satisfying cheap version and if I were a kid I would love playing with him and transforming him and stuff. Very interactive and cool. At ~50 bucks and with his necessary upgrades costing pennies, I like him, but I definitely see what you mean.

I thought I wldnt have a single figure on this list but I forgot about Berserker and surprisingly I still have that #1 Galvatron in a toy box in the closet. Lol

Yeah i hope this War for Cybertron line, does a review of many of the CrapOBots that we've received. I think the War for Cybertron line is probably the best and most consistent toyline we've ever had from TF and Hasbro. I don't know if its a whole knew slew of designers working on these, but they're good in my opinion. I've loved everyone of them.

Hehe, I started dusting my collection and started thinking about what my worst loved transformers.

10) Masterpiece Artfire, the half ladder size really makes me worry about Earthrise Inferno.
9) Cybertron Quickmix, articulation and looseness.
8) Classics Perceptor, same reasons but I like the forestry safety officer vehicle.
7) classics decepticon Seekers and coneheads alt mode, didn't really like the cargo pod and landing gear.
6) power of the Prime's Elita 1, should've been a ground vehicle. Tho I still have her as Junkion Nan-See
5) Combiner Wars Scout Hot Rod, his arm worn off, tho it was kinda cool the arm that broke off was the same one that broke off in the web series.
4) legends Optimus prime mold (Sentinel Prime's headmaster Infinitus) both Leo Prime and Convobat's Titanmasters legs. One of them broke and the other one is close to breaking off.
3) the siege micromaster cars, haven't gotten one of them.
2) Thrilling 30 Sandstorm, I really wanted a "boat" hulled helicopter.
1) Thrilling 30 Doubledealer, it needed a sentient decepticon beast mode. To be a Trans-faction reverse triple-changer.

Honorable mention:
movie and studio series toylines. I like to glide the transformations between alt and robot modes and it's really difficult to do with these toylines. Well the cyberverse toyline does help a lot.

titans return the entire line... But the legends storyline comic/manga helps a lot and I got a dozen of their releases and want some more.

I have to agree with three of the figures which I own myself. Those being one step changer bumblebee, car shatter, and skids which I doubled down on and got Crosscut as well. Other pieces of hot garbage in my collection include:. Universe deluxe Hound, power of the primes Elita 1, her fembot limbs, the new Camaro studio series bumblebee molds, studio series world war II bumblebee, and lastly Titans return broadside mold which I doubled down on and got tidal wave.

The worse one in my collection got to be universe ironhide. I've decided to even pass on the ratchet repaint. I'm surprised that it didn't made it to your list. Boy the vehicle is awful. It has way too many cracks. Looks like a puzzle. Including the red orange paint along with the light blue color. Which doesn't match with the other windows. Should of been silver. Even the color of his face is light blue. He gets that papa smurf vibe.
