Borderline is the second single from the mexican modern metal band Elements of Creation. Its sound is consolidated with a more forceful proposal that uses elements of progressive metal and djent, combined with a higher technical level than previously used, and that culminates with a powerful vocal line that reaches the climax of the song with a majestic final scream.
The single addresses the story of a mind affected by Borderline disorder, which seeks to get ahead by not surrendering to its internal demons and freeing itself from the bonds that torture it.
Borderline was recorded, produced, mixed and mastered in Mexico City at Off-Axis Studios by the band's producer and guitarist, Alonso Cuadros.

Borderline es el segundo sencillo de la banda mexicana de modern metal, Elements of Creation. Su sonido se consolida con una propuesta más contundente y que utiliza elementos de metal progresivo y djent, en conjunto con un nivel técnico más alto al utilizado previamente, y que culmina con una poderosa línea vocal que llega el clímax de la canción con un majestuoso grito final.
El sencillo aborda la historia de una mente afectada por el trastorno Borderline, que busca salir adelante no rindiéndose ante sus demonios internos y liberándose de las ataduras que la torturan.
Borderline fue grabada, producida, mezclada y masterizada en la Ciudad de México en Off-Axis Studios por el productor y guitarrista de la banda, Alonso Cuadros.
