A HA
A-ha is a Norwegian pop rock band formed in Oslo, Norway, in 1982. The group consists of Morten Harket (vocalist), Magne Furuholmen (keyboardist), and Paul Waaktaar-Savoy (guitarist). They gained international recognition with the release of the single "Take on Me" in 1985, which topped the charts in several countries and became one of the biggest hits of the decade.
"Take on Me" stood out not only for its catchy music but also for its revolutionary music video. The video featured a blend of animation and live-action and won multiple awards, including six categories at the 1986 MTV Video Music Awards. Since then, the song has been regarded as a classic and an anthem of the 80s.
