Sorry if this is glib, I was writing out a comment when youtub autoplayed the next video and deleted my commet;

I was the developer for the game and I have a question about the rules. The rules were made to server regular players more than new players, which is why the most freqently used rules were placed at the back where they could be easily flipped to or left in view. To keep the rulebook short these rules weren't presented twice, there's simply a 'turn to page' instruction where they would be relevant within the round structure. I don't consider that good practice normally, but with the rulebook being so small I figured it would only be minimally disruptive to the experience of initially learning the game.

You seemed rather unimpressed by the rulebook, though only articulated one complaint, that of the structure/flow being poor. Do you think it would have been better if;
a} The Structure was entirely 'instructions are presented at the point they become relevant (in play order)'.
b} If both a} and the back of book reference were used, and the extra page of rules wouldn't be a concern.

Additionally, if the structure was however you might have enjoyed it and generated no concerns, how would you then consider the quality of the rulebook?

Any insights would be hugely appreciated and will help me create better rulebooks in the future. Structuring rules is one of the hardest parts to get right, especially since audiences can vary so much and feedback can often be rather abstract during testing. Thanks for the review of the game by the way!
