I would like to go in the past because I’m adopted so I don’t know my biological parents at all. But I would like the opportunity to fully appreciate everything that my adopted parents who are my PARENTS Who gave me a fantastic life. The opportunity to spend time with them and listen to their words of wisdom and really understand how much they loved me. They have both passed on within a year of one another and that has left a lot of emptiness. Is extremely challenging for me, especially as an only child. To be alone sitting next to your mom and dad after they have gone on. And, you’re in shock and having to sign forms and make decisions that you’re not prepared for.
I would give anything anything to look into my dad’s beautiful eyes, see his smile and hear him always giving me words of wisdom. I took all of those moments for granted. Just to sit and hold my dad’s hand would ease my broken heart. He was my anchor. He was and will always be my Everything. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
