Nate loving these videos so much and really appreciate your balanced approach. Not sure if it's just me, but I find the background music is a little bit loud in relationship to your voice and is a bit distracting. Maybe other people can comment if they feel the same. That being said of course you are free to present as you wish just thought it might be useful to know some of us are having a bit of a hard time hearing your wisdom clearly. Thanks!

I'm desperate for some more opinion and info on positive punishment. I know it's a difficult topic to cover as there are alot of variables especially the dogs resilience and interpretation by viewers. Is there anything you can advise for when positive punishment could be used effectively. Maybe you could focus on when it shouldn't be used or what you should have in place before you consider positive punishment? Personally I only use after I've taught a behaviour and when I feel I've been heard/understood and the behaviour is clearly obstinate. I find a verbal correction alone is usually enough but only because it has weight?

I correct my dog either physical and mostly verbal, and give them another acceptable command to do. Correcting without telling or showing them what is acceptable to do, makes the dog confused.
