Alisha Popat presents a wonderful and touching new original track "Home". The song tells the personal story of Alisha's struggle with leaving her family and home in Kenya to go to Berlin, Germany for love. The song takes you on a nostalgic and beautiful journey to discovering the true meaning of the word "home".

Alisha Popat has been a singer and songwriter for over 15 years. She is well known for her cover ‘We Found Love’ with world renowned violinist Lindsey Stirling, that has an overwhelming 66 million views on YouTube. She has collaborated with other big YouTubers around the world, bringing them to Kenya and working on charitable projects through the music they collaboratively create. Alisha has also been seen in many Ismaili community music projects including with composer duo Salim-Sulaiman.

Alisha has been labeled the ‘Cover Queen’ for her many Africanized covers. She is now finally leaving that behind her and releasing her first totally original work.

Alisha Popat and her partner made a big move to Berlin during the pandemic and from this experience, the inspiration for the song ‘Home’ was born. It is an ode to her family, her country and her partner. Alisha garnered the courage and motivation to keep going with her career after her participation at the Voice of Germany 2021 where she made it to the advanced stages, giving a good account of her own talent and representing her homeland.
