During this table tennis rally, just when I think I've adapted to his game, Harsh pulls off a phenomenal table tennis casual return that targets my extreme backhand. I'm left out of position, struggling to regain my footing. Sensing the opportunity, he hits a smash aimed at my extreme forehand. I lunge desperately, my racket grazing the speeding ball, but alas, it sails outside the table. Harsh wins this table tennis point with ease.

Harsh Maniar is the cornerstone of the Thunder Falcons' MPL victory and a guiding force at the Vaibhav Pawar Table Tennis Academy in Mumbai from where top table tennis players like Ananya Chande and Ravindra Kotian have risen to great heights.
