The light does not switch off at night, is that normal or am i doing something wrong ?

I have this light, very good for a 1ft and 2ft tank. It does grow corals like it said on their packaging description. But the PAR level is just not that high for a deep tank more than 1ft. So it does a good job for a small reef tank.

This looks cool. What's the minimum tank size (front to back) that this goes on?

Why isn't the wire going down the inside of the support as to hide the wire.

Also, not all tanks are the same shape. A micestand type gooseneck would be better.
