I have so many questions:
1. Wouldn't this do a gravity assist at Mars?
2. How would anything come back from Mars? There is a huge difference in velocity.
3. Gravity assists always change the semimajor axis. Why doesn't it do it here.

How long does it have at each point? Or are we talking about space gas stations with on the fly pumping and jumping offs with space shuttles?
