Your range test videos are really calming man

The height problem was because of the obstacle avoidance. If you notice it wasn't flying at full speed until you turned off the obstacle avoidance. You were not, moving for quite a while. You easily would have added on a couple more miles. They compensate at very low light.

The bright star you called the West Star is the planet Venus which is currently high in the evening sky. So cool that you were able to capture that easily with your camera.

Dustin, Please do another range test test during the day. Lets see how far you get. The range on this test was great...imagine how much more distance you would have got if you turned off the obstacle avoidance first. I saw a video of a dude who showed the drone occaisionaly slowing, stoping or stuttering during a range test. He attributed it to the sensors. He turned them off and got about 8-9 miles

Your range tests from that location absolutely makes my day! This particular test in the evening, I always love to do❤. I so much envy your location, so beautiful, the perfect place.

I do have a couple of Mavics, the M3P Cine and M2P. The others are various other DJI models, Phantom 2, 3 pro including two Sparks. My baby is the Phantom 4 Pro+(Obsidian)
