Quick and concise I love how your videos are clear, unlike other creators who spend minutes on intros and outros.

I love how blender is becoming an all in one media creation tool. But it boggles my mind how far they stray from a user friendly experience. To me Windows Movie Maker set the standard for easy to master video editors. Sure software like Premiere Pro is more in depth but still follows a similar work flow. I hope they simplify the video editor in a future update

God your videos are a lifesaver! I knew nothing about video editing but with your videos I was able to cobble together a more than half decent video presentation for my university class on HCI. Thank you so much!

Ay, thanks dude! Helped a lot.

Edit.: Just figured out that if you right click the video strip there is a "fade" option, and you can select "fade in and out" :')

thanks for this. An outdated version of blender, but still useful! It's weird that the Cross transition adds an entity to the sequencer window.

I prefer using keyframes in the opacity of each strip.
1.000 means the full image of a video and 0 is like a blackscreen for me.
For a fade-out for example I go to the place where I want the fade to start and hit "I" when I hover over the opacity bar. It will add a keyframe and the bar turns green/ yellow.
Then I go to the end of the strip using the "Page up/ Page down" keys and change the opacity to 0 and hit "I" after I changed it. It's important to change the number first and hit the Keyframe key "I" afterwards!
