Again, I hope you're having a wonderful day! Im really glad I was still able to finish this in time, I've been so busy the last two months that I wasn't sure if I would be able to do it!

I actually started this project a few years ago for your birthday...and then I ran out of scenes to use (I hadn't seen Dead Apple or Season 3) and your birthday came and passed...so I told myself I would just finish it whenever I got around to catching up with the anime. Well. It took more time than I expected!
I still really liked what I had done already though so I tried hard to finish this edit this year. The song was sooo difficult to work with because the lyrics are just way too abstract and impossible to match, so I didn't even try. Still, I thought that you would really like the song, and it would make it worth it!
As you can see I went all out and focused on your dear boy Dazai, I know how much you love him! And I also know you like Soukoku, so I threw in a bit of that...and me being me, I couldn't resist but to add some Odazai as well BUT YOU CANT BLAME ME OKAY THEIR SCENES ARE JUST WAY TOO BEAUTIFUL.

Anyway Maf, I hope you like this gift!! There's more to come as well, so stay tuned for that!

THIS IS Just seeing the title, you know it's going to be Good. Dazai? And Starboy?? I'm flying. Can I just say that ever since you showed me a couple of mep parts with really fast paced songs, that you've been improving so much? Working with songs that a few years ago I'd never imagine you would? And you do so wonderfully, your style has improved to the point anything is possible and I just love it so much. I love the colouring, I love the song, I loved the scenes you picked (though "the lyrics are just way too abstract and impossible to match, so I didn't even try" is VERY valid ahahah anything other than the chorus and "I love my baby" is impossible. "kill any pain" was especially on point too! I loved that). Once the beats start hitting you just soared through them like it was that easy, with such a clean and immaculate style it puts us all to shame. My absolute favourite is 0:39, and right after when Dazai lets Atsushi go, it's SO fitting. And the next verse with Chuuya, I LOVE that. Thank you so, so much, Mona, it means a LOT to me! I love you! ♡
