I think Im getting it now. So the utility of Xrp is the reason the price will continue to climb regardless of what happens. The 1% rule is to create a ceiling for Xrp and that’s what’s going to give it its set price. The banks having to forcefully sell then buy back not to mention the use of its quickness and very low transaction fees, will cause a set price. What that set price is I have know idea but for the biggest financial institution on this planet to use them I would assume the price is going to be set extremely high. High enough for a lot of us to retire on and live our lives happily. If you guys are enjoying this moment in xrp hit the thumbs up because I know I am!!!

XRP price will have nothing to do with how much banks are 'holding' for investment purposes. XRP is about providing liquidity, think AMMs, I think you're missing the point though. It's very likely XRP will be reclassified considering it will be effectively a global base currency and the fact the Ripple is works very closely with the BIS. The value of XRP will depend on the value of the assets on the XRPL, transaction volume etc.

I believe that this limitation applies to those who have not yet invested in XRP. If JP Morgan, before that regulation, bought 10 billion XRP OTC, they will argue that they obtained it before establishing that rule, so they are not obliged to return it.
