The best place to retire is the place that makes you happy in retirement, Gomer

It seems that the focus here is low cost of living. I put safety, world-class healthcare, educational attainment and a strong international airport higher in retirement destinations.

Interesting video. Seems a bit thin on quality of life, particularly crime stats.

While as a soon to be retiree, I appreciate your input, as a wife and mom, I take issue with some of your state choices in regard to women’s healthcare needs, and availability, especially Texas, and Georgia. You may think it does not apply to women of retirement age, but it does, especially when we consider our precious female family members nearby and how it impacts them as well. Please consider doing a show about states to retire in where women’s healthcare is a priority and is available. Thank you.

There are many Americans that are looking at Europe and parts of Asia for retirement. Better quality of life, healthcare, healthier food and affordability.

We are going to be snowbirds in Florida soon. We will just buy a mobile home in a senior community so we will have some security and lawn mowed when we are gone. We will always spend summers in Alaska.
