Storyful in the Community: Volunteering at the DSPCA

Показать описание
Members of the Storyful team made the first of two planned volunteering visits to the Dublin Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (DSPCA) on Friday, November 4, spending time learning about the services the society provides while also helping exercise the animals resident at the centre.
The society provides a valuable service to those animals in need, and Storyful is proud to to lend at hand to such a important organisation.
The DSPCA relies on generous donations from the public to do its work. Ninety-five percent of its funding comes from monthly supporters and donations. Because it is not non-government organisation, the DSCPCA only receives five percent of its annual budget of nearly €2 million in ex-gratia payments from the government.
