An underrated gem from Anurag Kashyap was Ugly - it is a fantastic movie about human egos and pride killing innocence.
He has made very entertaining and gripping movies like Gangs of Wasseypur, Black Friday, Manmarziyaan Dev D, Mukkebaaz, Gulaal, The Girl in Yellow Boots, Gulaal, Raman Raghav 2.0, Bombay Talkies, Lust Stories, Sacred Games (series) etc.
He was also instrumental as a producer in bringing some fantastic movies to the forefront like - Masaan, Queen, Udaan, Lootera, Aamir, Shahid, Lunchbox, NH10, Udta Punjab, Hunterr, Trapped etc.
Apart from this writing some magical movies like Satya, Kaun, Shool, Yuva etc. and dialogues too for various movies.
He is surely one of the most talented people in the Hindi Movie Industry. He deserves a few box office hits for him to get a taste of this too apart from the critical acclaim that he already gets regularly.

*Siddharth - Please stop saying "Kya baat kar rahe ho!" after every other response from Anurag.*

This man is really genuine ❤ I’m 57 and live only for my family. I also write and have a knack for writing but couldn’t make it as a career. We women don’t have opportunity like men to struggle like them and most of them are wasted. After watching this interview I also want to struggle and shift to Mumbai and wanna try my luck too😊 I may get chance to meet Anurag Kashyap kind of genuine guys who struggled at their initial time and believe in me too and give me also a golden chance to write for them. May God fulfil my wish❤

People say bollywood me nepotism hai ye hai wo hai and when an individual jo itna struggle karke upar aya wo ake sach bata raha hai logo ko to people abuse that person aswell. Anurag Kashyap is an inspiration for many film aspirants. This interview just re-inspired me.

The host Siddharth is a super cool calm composed and super chilled 😎 guy..extremely interesting to listen to all his guests.... "Kya baat kar rahe ho!!" his favorite line 👍 👌 😄 👏 😀 He speaks less and allows full freedom to his guests to speak..great nature guy..never interrupt guests while they speak about various life stories...that's his best part...his patience to listen with a chilled demeanor 😎

For non Mumbai residents, can Mashable India, introduce a map (still or animated) of the route taken by Siddharth and his guest?
Now, with the multiple Metro rail network almost up and running, will the authorities give permission to shoot inside the metro? - with guerilla camera, of course.

It felt as if Anurag Kashyap was undergoing therapy by getting nostalgic about his struggle days. He's come the hard way and deserves all the success that comes his way.

Sid had his fanboy moments. Good on him to let the guest do all the talking.

Thoroughly enjoyed this and yes, Anurag should definitely write a bunch of books detailing his life experiences, thought process, different films he's done, his Bombay Journey etc. Thanks Sid & team

So happy to see this. Anurag is one of the most talented people we have in the industry, and has given us some really path breaking stuff. I only wish that the fire in his belly never extinguishes and he keeps churning out really hatke content, irrespective of the box office results. We need people like him to flourish, he’s not the type who has significant material ambitions. Need producers who can back his artistic vision.

This is actually how a journey should be. Not just answering questions of the interviewer, but adding more insights from their own lives. People who remember the worth of a rupee are genuine hustlers.

Gangs of wasseypur honestly was a Masterpiece, i still feel it would have won oscar if was recommended for nomination from india, the storyline was gripping, Raw and real dialogues and the jaw dropping cast itself was a testament of the success story, we indians tend to judge success by numbers but movies like Gangs of wasseypur was beyond that, My favorite and a really underrated dialogue was " Goli nai marenge kehke lenge uski apne aap mar jayega mc"

It was one of the best interview from your channel, although it was long but didn't felt long at all.

Salute to the journey of Mr. Anurag, your honesty is one the most beautiful thing which is certainly reflected in your craft as well.

God bless you and your family.
