As someone who is a firefighter in real life, I'm actually surprised they got it right. This is the most realistic representation **so far** in a game how fire looks and travels. I think the last time I was that amazed was Farcry 2's fire system.

FAA in the past (now): You have to put self-extinguish materials on your aircraft. Flammable materials are forbidden.

Out of curiosity... why don't these ships have fire suppressing systems? Like it you know the ships with reactors on them should have something to suppress a fire?

I can't think of anything less important than this for CIG to be working on, fix master modes= get rid of it, and finish armor and stealth for ships, fix combat and make a proper economy, crafting professions and a cross server auction house, let's go

I am really excited to have more mechanics like this in the game. I hope they release ice mining soon to refine into fuel and oxygen for ships to use. Ice needs it's debut!!

I love the fire system. I hope there's something in mind for fire suppression systems down the road. Maybe by manufacturer? I can see Drake ignoring it.
