Montreal Canadiens sign Juraj Slafkovsky to entry level deal, sign depth players in NHL free agency

The Montreal Canadiens were not especially active on the first day of NHL free agency, however they did get a major contract on the books by signing Juraj Slafkovsky to his entry level contract. Sorry but I strongly disagree with the statement that the Habs will be terrible next season. Yes, they'll miss the playoffs. They'll not be great. But we will see progress all across the field and that will make it so exciting and joyfull to watch. I am so looking forward to it!!!

Don’t count on the habs getting a top five pick next year unless it comes from Florida….
