I work as a system engineer for research computing, and to think AI could replace us, software engineers etc is straight bollocks. The jobs which require both (constant) physical labour and attention to detail? Even harder to replace.

AI has and will continue to revolutionise many sectors, but to believe its going to result in a 1:1 replacement is ludicrous. Some jobs will stay, other jobs will evolve, some jobs will be lost. Other jobs will be created.

I dont feel like robots or AI could ever *really* take over every job. AI and robotics still need maintenance and oversight, not to mention actually creating the server rooms and AI models in the first place.
