1st time viewer and now subscribed, Thanks! You described me in this video, Have a engineering/tech background and passion for handyman work on the side. Been wanting to start my own business but never get anywhere because I overthink things and can't get pass the planning phase. Great video, I’m in the opposite situation. I’m a CPA so I understand the business side very well. It’s where to start with the technical skill and how to practice it before I actually start on customers homes where I’m struggling. I’m very new to “handyman” type work so not sure what to focus on and how much time I need to put in to xyz skill.

My question is how do you survive as a handyman in California when we are regulated to not do any work quotes over $500 including materials.
