Ooooh I got Snow Country when I went to Japan, read it when I was 16. Kawabata likes to focus on painting a picture of the environments the main character is in. Honestly, it's a relaxing read. Perhaps too relaxing as I remember falling asleep. XD

I read Memoirs of a Geisha in my teens and it was fine…
Paddy Clarke Ha Ha Ha was actually one of our set texts for GCSE English (so random) and I seem to remember it being quite funny. I’ve never seen anyone talking about it on booktube before.

I read both 1984 and Animal Farm and I think personally Animal Farm is sooo much cooler. I dont want to spoil anything but its such a cool book in my view, mainly because I love fables.

I loved Snow Country and Animal Farm. I like 'because it will annoy people' as a reason to read something. I'm not sure I will ever read Rand, but perhaps I am making assumptions. I've read some Tagore poetry but none of his novels. But he's on my list. Nice selection though.
