Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin Hits Out At Governor Over NEET Bill, Says Governor Is Nothing But A Postman

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK president M K Stalin yesterday launched a scathing attack on Governor RN Ravi over the anti-NEET Bill, saying the State was not asking for his approval for the Bill but to send it for Presidential assent like a "postman".

The Governor does not have the authority to grant his approval to the Bill, adopted in the Assembly twice during the DMK rule, seeking exemption from the ambit of the National Entrance-cum-Eligibility Test (NEET) for Tamil Nadu, he said.

governer post is a ornamental post, it doesn't have any power to go against the constitutional power of assembly. all the governers appointed by BJP are not following the norms prescribed by rules of the land. and he is one among them, it is better to all the governers post which is huge expenses of the respective State governments and waste of tax payers money.

tamilnadu govt is doing everything against the tamilnadu people who caused for the dmk ruling. TN govt should take nessesary action for TN people like solution for power cut, law and order failure and etc...but TN DMK govt concenrates to their own agenda politics.. Its totally shame...

NEET is a national exam.Other states follow it without issues .So what is Tamil Nadus problem. Do they feel their candidates are below average in intelligence or is it because they are not able to insert candidates who will not qualify. Any good student will not have problem in clearing these exams. The tuition centre's must be pressuring Stalin .If Tamil Nadu wants to be our of the loop then it should also accept the fact that their students will not be considered for admission to colleges in other states
