Did you know that “Earth Song” actually does not have a lyrical chorus because Michael wanted to do a chorus that anyone around the world no matter what language they spoke understood so the chorus goes like aa oh ooh oooh” it’s a chorus not to be understood by words but rather felt and understood you can hear it’s a pleading, sadness and calling for our bleeding planet. Such a great message that unfortunately still is relevant today of protecting our beautiful earth <3

Nobody was speaking on these issues at the time through their music like MJ was at that time, and he was making music like this when at a time it wasn’t prevalent to make music with messages like this which separated him from the rest MJ was 1 of 1 Truly One Of A Kind Long Live The King Of Music Forever! Concerning the fact of what we have done to the earth, all the forests are being destroyed and the bond/relationship we had with the animals is not the same as it used to be. In the other hand, as a cause of man's mismanagement of earth mother nature is trying to compensate. However, because of the ecological unbalance and environmental problems earth is dying. The main goal Michael Jackson wanted was to give the message to people, for “people to hear the voice of the planet” and encourage the people to do something about it. Also the song becomes spiritual towards the ending, where Michael calls on people to remember the earth is their inheritance from God via their ancestor Abraham. Meanwhile, MJ sings "What about death again" reminding listeners to think about their eternal death, asking people to check their heart for repentance, or to see if they really ever cared.)
