I can’t believe Colombia argued about that penalty kick. There was absolutely no effort by the defender to play the ball. And the antics before the penalty kick was taken was ridiculous! South American women’s teams are definitely learning from the men. Zero respect after this!

Colombia is one of the most unsportsmanlike teams ive ever watched. i will root against them as hard as possible at every chance i get. i dont care if they have talent, act like punks in every match against the US. this goes back to when Hatch got into it with a Colombian defender who flopped so friggen hard people still talk about it. i was proud of Hatch standing up for herself when that happened. Colombias coach was a real a--hole.

There is a difference between Physical play and dirty play. I'll just say it: Colombia plays dirty. I'm not saying this just because I'm American. They played that way in every World Cup game long before playing the U.S.. Not only that, in a pre-World Cup game friendly warm-up against Ireland, Ireland stopped the game during play and left the field due to Colombia's dirty play. Which is a shame, since Colombia does have a couple of really talented players. They don't need to play that way...yet they do. Watch for them to continue their garbage style of playing in the upcoming Olympics.
