"it's literally the equivalent of checking all roads to check if it's safe, and then when driving across you get run over by a truck who came from the grass" is one of the funniest analogies i've ever heard

High elo players in low elo: Why is he there?

Low elo players in high elo: How is he there?

"You can't predict the enemy when they themselves don't even know what they are doing"

Often joked about with friends but it is elo hell in a confusing nutshell

high elo players: jiggle peak corners
low elo players: crouch peak corners

You missed the large number of smurfs and trolls that exist in Low Elo, their existence is fact and the effect they have on comp is undeniable. I was stuck in bronze for a stupidly long time and when I finally got out I had a much easier time, the number of afks, trolls and enemies who went 40/2 went down exponentially.

Honestly what I found helped is if you get a good game where you play well and you meet nice players - add them and you have the comms that you rly need and no one is carrying anyone :)

It's impossible sometimes to lurk because there's going to be that one rat that doesn't leave his spot even when his whole team has rotated and my team is about to plant

Finally someone would point this out, also that really rare match where it was real competition where both the teams know what they are doing and going neck to neck…oh I love those even if I lose

I find the competitive system in Valorant to be problematic, the matchmaking is inconsistent and since I’m like iron/bronze placed every act, I’ll play a few games and get nothing out of it, I’m better off playing it unrated, less toxic and don’t get flamed for having not the best aim or game sense for all maps yet

"Why It's So Hard to Escape Low ELO" its because I am hot garbajj lmao

this is quite true, some people in my gold/silver games dont even have headphones. and the enemy team would have a smurfing jett/reyna. I would constently get team/match mvp in my games, really unfair :/

Genuinely one of the biggest things is mid match leaving, or trolling, you can be up 9-5 and a player on your team loses connection or leaves. Then boom 9-13. Aim only goes so far when angles that need to be guarded cant be

As a low elo player i just rely more on myself than my team and try to study patterns of the enemy. The best thing you probably can do in low elo is reading the enemy. It may be hard in some cases but if they play passive or aggressive gives a lot of info. Also looking for their ability usage may help. Does the enemy Raze use granade first thing in rounds and where does the soba put his arrow. Knowing where they normally hold is also very good info to have ofc. I rely on myself most of the time and let my team do their thing. I help them on sight then i hold flank or flank.

When I'm playing low elo I fully just turn off my brain and outaim them because most of the time I have no idea wtf they're doing. Honestly it's painful, especially seeing as I consider bronze-ish to be the most toxic rank.

I’m a Diamond player, and when I play with my Gold friends, I find that playing how I would normally play in Plat-Diamond does not work for whatever reason. I am a Cypher main, so eventually I just said screw it and picked Reyna, and I have to agree with others in saying that she really is a pub stomping agent. Between flashing in and taking no health repercussions for winning gunfights, I can see why it’s smurfs agent of choice.

I used to be silver 1 and now I'm diamond 2. My biggest tip would have to be make sure to watch pro players and see what they do and try and copy it. They're pro players for a reason and it really teaches you a lot about positioning and map control.

exactly this, one of my closest friends is currently bronze 3 on her main however, on a soloq/duoq account she made a couple acts ago she has climbed to d3 and almost immortal. low elo players are impossible to predict/play against and anytime i play with higher ranked friends they will say the same thing

Me(Silver): Instalock jett who doesn't know how to entry a site and than I have to push as Cypher

Since I got out of silver, I've climbed plat 2 in two weeks whereas I was stuck in silver for months.
Out of my last 20 games, I won 18 and lost 2. It's amazing. I was around 50% winrate in silver.
(I add that I solo Q all the time)

I think the reason for me is inconsistency with my playing.

Edit: inconsistent with aim
And I do these strategys and push in and I get countered by the dumbest shiz
