An exclusive interview with Miss Piggy after 'Muppets' milestone

Miss Piggy made her television debut 50 years ago this week. Since then, she's become beloved for her romance with Kermit the Frog on "The Muppet Show" and her sense of style and stardom. Michelle Miller sits down with Miss Piggy to talk fashion, legacy and more.

Eric is so talented…. I had the pleasure of being his Moms friend and she was an amazing person who always knew he would make it. She died before he made it really BIG and being Miss Piggy is BIG. She would be beside herself with joy.

If there is ever a moment in Miss Piggy's career that I will ALWAYS remember and cherish, is the "Pigs in Space" sketch on The Muppet Show that was hosted by Carol Burnett. They had captured a weird alien creature. The creature started to dance with Miss Piggy (a dance marathon was going on in the show and they worked it into the sketch). Then while it appears he's dancing with her he says HUNGRY!!!!" and mercilessly gobbles her up. That was over 40 years since I saw that and it STILL cracks me up. So thank you Miss Piggy for the laughs.
