Great review. I love this book. I’ve not read anything else from the series yet. There was a BBC radio show of Neuromancer as well that was pretty decent

I consider myself halfway intelligent and have read many books over the years that are written brilliantly without a struggle. Neuromancer, on the other hand, is a challenge for me. I promised myself that I would finish it AND understand it. This video of yours is helping. Thank you.

THIS IS THE BEST BOOK I'VE EVER RED.
I've red books by Jules Verne, Philip K. Dick, Stephen King, Umberto Eco, Herbert Wells, Frank Herbert and others... NOTHING was like William Gibson's
The guy, was so ahead of its time! I'm sure, back in the '80ies, they needed a telescope to watch his perspective!
In all these videos about Neuromancer in YouTube, I read comments like "It was hard to understand the plot..."e.t.c.... There's nothing difficult to understand. All you need is a note-book and a pen. Every time you read a strange/new word/name/location, write down every little detail Gibson is giving you and after a billion of pages, when you will read again about this thing/person/situation e.t.c. you will visit your note-book and every detail you need to know is right there. Gibson, will not leave you in the dark.

I'm waiting for this book to arrive in a couple of days and I plan to read it in one sitting. I can't wait for this! Thanks for the info about the story.

Thank you for reminding me about Nuromancer Zoe because of this book club I've just reread the Sprawl trilogy and it is still as innovative today as it was when I first read it in the 1980's. Of the three Mona Lisa is the best perhaps because by the time Gibson got round to it he had developed as a writer. Perhaps you might consider doing a book club on the trilogy sometime as the three books make a very pleasing whole.

Great review! His writing style reminds me of James Ellroy

awesome review! It does seem like this book bent the cultural timeline, didn't it? Loved hearing your thoughts.
