Please know that there are many people around the world who did not want a war, and understand the true history of Ukraine. I've seen, heard, and read within the last few weeks on various news and social media platforms worldwide so much support for the Ukrainian people, and its sovereignty as a country than I've ever witnessed in many decades for another nation and its own country's people.
Prayers are going out into the World for peace in Ukraine, BUT also for within other countries worldwide such as: Myanmar, Syria, Lybia, Venuzuela, Cuba, Brazil, Congo, and many more in the Euroasian, Middle Eastern, Asian, African, South American, and Carribean areas too. I don't think that I need to list ALL the remaining ones where there's been conflict with people being killed.

Ukrainians in the US are called Americans of slavic descent. Not russians, not ukrainians. It should be the official term uniting us.
