Darth Vader was machined out of Aluminum Stock on our DMG DMU 85 Monoblock 5 Axis Machining Center. We utilized the latest products from Mastercam software and Schunk tooling.

Awesome work. I see you did all your roughing as positional 3 +2. Then a 4th axis continual for mid detailing, and last a simultaneous 5 axis detail finish. I suppose that would be the typical workflow for any 5 axis part, no? We have 5 axis capability at my job and are wanting to get it up and going.

3:00 Lol, I thought only Haas did over cut but DMG did the same shit. And still chatter on the surface, not a really strong machine
