Buzzcut Season - Rabbithop PMV

With two years in the making, a commission for Purespiritflower of their character Rabbithop (also a part of the Dominoclaw's Demise story.) This project was a huge undertaking and definitely the longest I've ever worked on a video. I hope you all enjoy!

I just adore how Rabbithop’s kids are welcoming of her and Flamewing’s relationship. Her kits were all she had for a while and I would probably start sobbing if they didn’t accept her for who she was

I love this! Especially that Rabbithop went on to live her own life without resentment. You see, the Erins would never allow that to happen. I was kinda scared Rabbithop would have such a strong resentment towards Dominoclaw that she would raise her kids to hate him and Rose. I’m so glad she just became a strong independent mom and eventually got a girlfriend too

I love how even though Rabbithop was hurt and betrayed, she was able to move on from her grief, make peace, make friends, and find a new mate. And then Dominoclaw fucked shit up

Rabbithop started out with a very tough life, but I’m glad that her life gets better and she finds a girlfriend that loves her dearly 💕

The detail to her hair! After she flips it up, it doesn't cover her eyes again! You can even see that in the flashback her hair is down, but her present self has it up!

So I don’t really know the story of the characters; I don’t follow Domino or spiritflower and most I know is “domino buys a lot of commissions, thus supporting artists, that’s really cool!!” - that said, the way you made this, I didn’t feel a need to have previously known the characters or their story, because (even if maybe I interpreted it wrong) you told it to me and showed it to me. I didn’t even read the script, I felt no need. I was completely invested in the video and the emotions it brought out.

I don’t think I have brain energy or the words for complimenting the way you made the video and why it worked, but please know that fancy art words aside, it did. Maybe when I have more energy and ability to think critically I can come back to say “this is what got me, and the way you did that, good job on it!” but right now my brain is going whole video is good and that not super helpful when looking to improve aha

This PMV is beyond being astonishing. The slight reverb n the frames, the camera movements? They match with the pacing of the song so well! The way you portray characters' emotions via movements and angles will never fail to amaze me. And I'm not gonna even start ranting about backgrounds because they are so deep into the atmosphere of this whole pmv!

This turned out so well and deserves a big round of applause! How each character was put together was good as Rabbithops story progressed. I love the way you do designs and make each character feel so real in how they move amongst the screen too. The editing, lighting, shading and everything was appealing to look at so again well done with this PMV.

Holy crap, this is INCREDIBLE!! Seriously, I barely know anything about Dominoclaw's story but I managed to grasp exactly what was going on just by visuals alone--that's something a lot of animations fail to accomplish! It always kept my attention and never got boring, it was paced perfectly. Not to mention the art is just... [chef's kiss] Awesome job on this one!

This PMV made me cry. Seeing Rabbithop go through all that stuff with Dominoclaw and then finding a family with Flamebreeze(? Can’t remember her name 😅) and being happy with her kits was so flippin cute. Maybe it’s just the way you draw her and the art style but I really want her to get everything she wants in life. It’s rare that I love a character this much that I genuinely want them to be happy, because mostly I’m just focusing on how the character is written rather than their story. This made me feel for her. The art and transitions are beautiful, especially at 2:19-2:37 . Thank you for uploading this. I’ve watched it 20 times now 😂

I love how at first, she’s watching over the pool with Dominoclaw, and then she’s watching over the pool with her new mate and her kits, she’s letting go and her courage is back
