Husqvarna Norden 901 | The Best All Rounder ADVENTURE BIKE?

Husqvarna have finally released their Norden 901 Adventure Motorcycle. The mid-sized adventure bike is set to release in North America this month and in Australia early next year at a price of $13,999USD or $23,250AUD.

Although it takes its DNA from the renowned KTM 890 Adventure Motorcycle, a few key differences allow this new motorcycle from Husqvarna to really stand out and provide a unique place in the mid-sized adventure motorcycle lineup! Let me know what you think!

What do you think? Did HUSQVARNA launch yet another white KTM or does the Norden 901 offer something new?

With the low tank it is going to be great - eventually the other bike makers will wake up and realise this is what sets apart the 790/890/901. It is the secret that is right in front of their noses!
I still can't understand why even the after market people have not started making low slung, either side of the engine tanks for other bikes.
As far as looks goes - get over it - these bikes are beautiful from where it matters - behind the handlebars!

Once the 490 adv r releases at same time next year it will overshadow 890/901. Everyone will trade their heavy and/or poor suspension bikes for a 490r that will be the most dirt capable adv bike. Twin cylinder power in a lighter package. Unless someone is just using adv bike as sport touring platform...

Great video! Just what I was looking for for info on the bike! I wonder if the ergonomics are going to be similar to 890 too, because I like the ergonomics on the 890 more than on the Africa Twin which is another bike I would consider! Thanks!

I wish the Norden 901 didn’t come with APEX suspension and atleast XPLOR suspension like the 890 ADV R.

I think the Tenere 700 has been massively successful agains the KTM due to aesthetics, not cost. With the Norden, it's a far more difficult choice. I love the Tenere's styling, but I don't love buying a 10K bike then putting 2-4K to upgrade the suspension then add heated grips, a bigger tank, and cruise control. With the Norden, you get all of that, plus you can set the Explorer Mode to "T7 ABS only" if you really want, and it doesn't look like an alien orange praying mantis flamethrower. If you want the T7 over the Norden, you need to like it stock.

i am actually thinking of calling my local dealer now to put a deposit down on one of the 2 he says are incoming in Jan, i just sold my baby 2017 ktm 1090 adv R i had since new with 27000 miles on it wanting something a wee bit lighter
